Turning down the rumors that Mauricio Pochettino could leave his managerial position to Spurs, he then announced that he has signed a new five-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur that makes a new 5 years in addition to his current career to lead Spurs until 2023.
Also the club issued a statement on Thursday to announce that Pochettino together with three of his first-team backroom staff have signed a contract to extend their services and ensure to lead Spurs into their new home at White Hart Lane.
With their new contracts that will end on 2018/23 season, it also end the fears and pressure of not having the team to challenge for the title on the previous tournaments.
According to Ponchettino “I am honoured to have signed a new long-term contract as we approach one of the most significant periods in the club’s history and be the manager that will lead this team into our new world-class stadium,”
“This is just one of the factors that makes this one of the most exciting jobs in world football and we are already making plans to ensure we continue to build on the great work that everyone has contributed to over the past four years.” Ponchettino added.
Ponchettino also shared his conversation with levy that they have many things shares that they have aspirations for their football club, and they have the same philosophies to gain long term success in the industry.
Ponchettino also said that “This is a special club – we always strive to be creative in the way we work both on and off the pitch and will continue to stick to our principles in order to achieve the success this club deserves.”

The news will be welcome by Spurs positively, making the squad to have their third consecutive season of Champions League football in 2018/2019 and placing third in the Premier League earlier this month was great mark that Pochettino led the club well.
