Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) has announced that the former Premier League manager Ronald Koeman will be the new head coach of the Netherlands national team.
Koeman, who replaced Dick Advocaat as a coach, has agreed to sign a four-and-a-half year contract until 2018 of the Qatar World Cup. (Don’t forget to check 12BET for more Soccer Betting Tips)
According to the statement from the official website of the Dutch FA, it was stated that: “The KNVB has reached agreement with Ronald Koeman about the appointment as national coach of the Dutch national team. Koeman has just signed a contract that connects him to Orange with immediate effect up to and including the World Cup 2018.”
Going back, the 54-year-old boss has been out of work after being sacked at the Goodison Park last October due to Everton’s poor performance that saw the Toffees fall into the relegation zone.

“I am proud to finally announce that I am the new manager of the Dutch national team. I have never put under the head that I had the ambition to become a national coach of the Dutch national team. I think it’s a great challenge and absolute honor to be the national coach of Orange in the coming years. I’m happy to be here and serve the country in our road to Uefa Euro 2020!” Koeman stated
The new Holland manager will be tested in his first friendly match on March 23, 2018 against England as part of Gareth Southgate’s team World Cup preparations.
In addition to Koeman, the KNVB also appointed former Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo general manager Nico-Jan Hoogma, as the director of football.
