According to the statement from the official website of the Dutch FA, it was stated that: “The KNVB has reached agreement with Ronald Koeman about the appointment as national coach of the Dutch national team. Koeman has just signed a contract that connects him to Orange with immediate effect up to and including the World Cup 2018.”

Going back, the 54-year-old boss has been out of work after being sacked at the Goodison Park last October due to Everton’s poor performance that saw the Toffees fall into the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Netherlands failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia but he assured to help the country to the UEFA Euro 2020. (Sign Up now for more updated news and sports events)

I think it’s a great challenge and absolute honor to be the national coach of Orange in the coming years. I’m happy to be here and serve the country in our road to Uefa Euro 2020!” Koeman stated

The new Holland manager will be tested in his first friendly match on March 23, 2018 against England as part of Gareth Southgate’s team World Cup preparations.
