Mohamed Salah has been phenomenal this season and the Brazilian superstar Neymar believes that Liverpool star forward could bring a big impact in the 2018 World Cup.
According to Neymar, Salah is a great play that can make a difference on the upcoming biggest football event in Russia.
“The most well-known contenders [to win the World Cup] are the usual favorites. In addition to Brazil, there is Germany, Spain, France and Argentina. These contenders are highlights in any tournament in which they participate, right? I think surprisingly, Belgium have a great team, and Salah is well, is a great player and can make a difference in the World Cup.” Neymar stated
The 25-year-old Liverpool striker has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season after his summer move from Roma.
Going back, Salah sent Egypt to their first World Cup since Italia 1990 last October after he scored twice against Congo.
Moving forward, Salah will be guiding Egypt and try to carry his great form to the World Cup when they face Uruguay, host Russia and Saudi Arabia in their group.
