Gianni Infantino satisfied with Russia’s World Cup preparations

Ahead of the biggest and prestigious football event in the world, FIFA President Gianni Infantino pointed out that he is well pleased with Russia’s preparation in the 2018 World Cup.

“I am very satisfied so far with the progress in Russia. I’m sure we’ll have a great World Cup there – not only a great World Cup but the best World Cup ever.” Infantino addressed in response to the development of the said tournament

The 47 year-old FIFA president plans to visit Russia in the near future after he announced that he will not attend the scheduled seminar for World Cup participants held in the Russian Black Sea Resort of Sochi this February 27 and 28.

Moving forward, World Cup will begin on June 14 to July 15, 2018, using 12 stadiums in 11 Russian cities which are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi, and Rostov-on-Don. (Sign Up now for more updated news and sports events)

Group A is consists of Russia, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Uruguay while Group B will feature Portugal, Spain, Iran and Morocco. Group C will have France, Australia, Peru and Denmark.

In addition, Group D is composed of Argentina, Iceland, Croatia and Nigeria. Group E has Brazil, Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia while Germany, Mexico, Sweden and South Korea makes up Group F.

Finally, Group G will be Belgium, Panama, Tunisia and England and Group H has Poland, Colombia Senegal and Japan.
