Younger players has less experience so it might be hard for a team with young player to rule the tournament. But in the view of Gary Lineker that England must be giving the youngsters to have experience and showcase their talents throughout the tournament.

According to Gary “If I was Gareth Southgate I would sell this on youngsters,” he said. “I’d say, ‘This is an experience’ I would totally take the pressure off them.

“I would say, ‘This is all about experience, we are not going to do particularly well, we are not going to win this World Cup’. I would play lots of these talented young players.

“Bring Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Sessegnon, bring the youngsters and give them that little bit of experience.”
